Junior Athlete Performance (Ages 12-15)

We’re excited to announce the blending of our Junior Athlete Performance (Junior AP) and Youth Weightlifting programs into one comprehensive training experience: Junior Athlete Performance and Weightlifting.

*Not running in the Summer - Check out our Youth Weightlifting program!

This class combines the best of both worlds—athletic development and foundational strength training—while keeping safety, fun, and confidence-building at the core.

Program Overview

  • For developing athletes: Builds on the basics established in our Intro to Strength and Conditioning classes, making it the perfect next step for youth with prior training experience.

  • For young lifters: Provides a structured introduction to weightlifting with a focus on proper form, technique, and movement mechanics in a safe, supportive environment.

  • For all participants: Enhances strength, speed, and overall athleticism, while laying the groundwork for future sports performance and gym readiness.

Weekly Training Focus

  • Weightlifting
    Athletes will work with barbells under the guidance of our expert coaches. Training will emphasize proper barbell technique and strength development through the key lifts:

    • Squats

    • Deadlifts

    • Presses

  • Functional Fitness
    Sessions will target overall athletic development through functional movement, agility, and conditioning.

1x per week: $25/class
2x+ per week: $22/class

Session 02: 10/19/26 - 11/29/26 (session pro-rated, no Friday class 11/27)
Session 03: 11/30/26 - 1/10/27 (session pro-rated, no Friday class 12/25 & no class 12/28-1/1)
Session 04: 1/11/27 - 2/21/27
Session 05: 2/22/27 - 4/4/27
Session 06: 4/5/27 - 5/16/27
Session 07: 5/17/27 - 6/27/27

Class DROP-IN or FREE TRIAL: If your athlete has never been to this specific SPARK c;ass and you would like to do a free trial, you can select that option through the registration below (please note the specific date they can attend). If your athlete is looking to just drop into a class due to not being able to commit weekly, please still fill out the form below with select dates. Drop in is $28/class (note that kids who are committed to all 6 weeks will get roster priority).
