Junior Athlete Performance (Ages 12-15)

We’re excited to announce the blending of our Junior Athlete Performance (Junior AP) and Youth Weightlifting programs into one comprehensive training experience: Junior Athlete Performance and Weightlifting.

This class combines the best of both worlds—athletic development and foundational strength training—while keeping safety, fun, and confidence-building at the core.

Program Overview

  • For developing athletes: Builds on the basics established in our Intro to Strength and Conditioning classes, making it the perfect next step for youth with prior training experience.

  • For young lifters: Provides a structured introduction to weightlifting with a focus on proper form, technique, and movement mechanics in a safe, supportive environment.

  • For all participants: Enhances strength, speed, and overall athleticism, while laying the groundwork for future sports performance and gym readiness.

Weekly Training Focus

  • Tuesdays & Fridays – Weightlifting Focus
    On these days, athletes will work with barbells under the guidance of our expert coaches. Training will emphasize proper barbell technique and strength development through the key lifts:

    • Squats

    • Deadlifts

    • Presses

  • Wednesdays – Functional Fitness Focus
    Sessions will target overall athletic development through functional movement, agility, and conditioning.

Pricing (6 week commitments)
1x per week: $24/class
2x+ per week: $21/class


2025-2026 Season:
Session 1:
9/7-10/17
Session 2: 10/19 - 11/28 (No Class on 11/27-28 Thanksgiving)
Session 3: 12/1 - 1/16 (No Class Holiday Break 12/22 - 1/2 - 5 week session)
Session 4:
1/19 - 2/27 (MLK Day 1/19 & Presidents Day 2/16 we still have class!)
Session 5:
3/2- 4/10
Session 6: 4/13 - 5/22
Session 7: 5/26 - 6/19 (No class on Monday 5/25, 4 week total session)

Class DROP-IN or FREE TRIAL: If your athlete has never been to this specific SPARK c;ass and you would like to do a free trial, you can select that option through the registration below (please note the specific date they can attend). If your athlete is looking to just drop into a class due to not being able to commit weekly, please still fill out the form below with select dates. Drop in is $28/class (note that kids who are committed to all 6 weeks will get roster priority).
